– PAST EXPERIENCE FROM CUBO DRINKS –
How can you change younger drinkers’ perceptions of Scotch whisky and get them to try it for themselves?
We developed a global alcohol advertising campaign for Ballantine’s that turned the stuffy old rules upside down. We showcased a wide variety of real serves from Ballantine’s drinkers, which had been collected through a social UGC campaign.
Our team were surprised to find just how many different ways people were already drinking Ballantine’s, from simple tropical mixers to birthday cake shots. The campaign celebrated the fact that everyone is free to enjoy our whisky however they like to.
Our inspiring new brand attitude reached over 30m viewers worldwide, with local markets adapting their own ads, thanks to the flexibility of our idea. Our toolkit explained the strategy and assets, as well as inspiring markets with activations and promotions for the on and off-trade.
